Citizens

Citizen Space’s current intrepid independents:

Tara Hunt
Tara is one of the founders and co-owners of Citizen Space. When she isn’t preaching the word of Coworking across the world, she is writing books (most recent is The Whuffie Factor), speaking about online marketing and consulting companies on connecting with their customer communities and designing products to produce customer happiness. She misses the space these days as her current residence is in Montreal, but tries to get back as much as possible.

Hillary Hartley otherwise known as quepol on the internets, is co-owner of Citizen Space. She works on all things gov2.0 for NIC Inc., blogs sparingly, and tweets a lot. You can find me here.

Nick Cawthon provides a shadowy glimpse into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. A young loner on a crusade – to champion the cause of user experience for the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of corporate websites who operate above the law. If you have a problem – if no one else can help – and if you can find
them – then maybe you can hire: Gauge Design.

The Eye-Fi Guys
Eye-Fi builds products and services that help consumers share their visual memories. Their core product is a wireless SD memory card for your digital camera. The Eye-Fi Card stores photos and videos like a standard SD memory card, but it also makes your camera wireless, effortlessly sharing your photos and videos to both your Mac or PC and the online photo sharing destination of your choice. Some of the Eye-Fi web engineering team works at Citizen Space once a week (usually Wednesdays).

Mark Rosin
“Hello, I am Mark Rosin. I was born and have lived in UK all my life but I now spend much of my time in US. I amuse myself doing physics/maths and playing football, going to gigs, growing stuff in the garden and playing with Bertrand Russell, my hamster.” Mark is currently a Ph.D. student at Astrophysical Fluids and Non-linear Patterns Group in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge. More about Mark.

Karina Sanz
is part of the Geminus Labs team, a software outsourcing company focused web development. Karina holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidad Catolica de Cordoba, Argentina and is pursuing her MBA from Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She loves the web, social media, and all those things that will change the way we live for the better.

Jesse Taggert is a communication designer and the part-time general manager of Citizen Space. She recently moved from Boston and has been learning at least five new tech acronyms a day working in South Park.

Jason (Jay) Walsh is the Director of Actuarial Services for an insurance company and does not have a Twitter account. On top of that he runs. While an oddball at Citizen Space, he loves the co-working environment and is glad that he is the only San Francisco employee of his Los Angeles-based company. In his free time Jay is an active participant with the Couch Surfing Project, a multi-year Burner, and a great fan of dancing.

Jonathan Gold doesn’t know why you are reading this. You really should be working, playing, smoking crack, or generally doing something more useful with your time than reading about him and and trying to understand his ridiculously ambitious plans to rip the software world a new one.
