Hi, my name is Jeremy Chen, and I am pleased to introduce myself as one of the new Citizen Space Residents for Spring 2013. I am a social enterprise lawyer that assists new companies with business entity formation and business transactions.
At Citizen Space, I am working on creating online legal resources for social enterprises. The first resource is a library of articles explaining the myriad legal issues that social enterprises, as well as for-profit companies and non-profits face in starting their companies. www.jeremychenlaw.com/articles
The second resource is a legal blog, which I intend to be a more accessible forum dedicated to social enterprises and new ways of doing business. I will be posting topics regarding the intersection of business and law, social change, marketing, art and music, culture, and good ideas. Please check it out at: www.jeremychenlaw.tumblr.com
Having never worked in a co-working space before, I will be documenting my experience at Citizen Space on this blog. So far, Citizen Space has been a great place to meet cool people, who just happen to be focused and self-motivated entrepreneurs. I look forward to the next few months at Citizen Space, and encourage new folks to give it a try.
